Flat Rate Automotive Technician | Infiniti of Tacoma | $32–45/hr | Full-Time
About The Position
Infiniti of Tacoma is seeking an experienced Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join their growing Service Department. This role offers a chance to work with a premium luxury automotive brand, receive ongoing Infiniti manufacturer training, and have the support, resources, and consistent workflow needed to perform at your best. The technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Infiniti vehicles, perform maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer standards, and utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools. Effective communication with service advisors and fellow technicians is essential, as is maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Staying current with manufacturer training and evolving vehicle technology is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- Previous professional automotive repair experience required
- 1+ year of automotive experience.
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
- Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Nice To Haves
- Flat-rate dealership experience preferred
- ASE certifications are ideal.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Infiniti vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs according to Infiniti manufacturer standards
- Complete repair orders thoroughly while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, technical service information, and specialized tools
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Stay current with manufacturer training, repair procedures, and evolving vehicle technology
