About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Automotive Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician performs extensive automotive repairs and heavy engine work, advanced vehicle diagnostics, electrical repairs, and work on vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. The role includes diagnosing and repairing vehicles of all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles. The posting describes the schedule as first shift, Monday through Friday, and lists pay of $26 to $41 per hour. Carvana provides state-of-the-art tools and offers training programs for entry-level positions. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
