About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is hiring an Entry-Level Automotive Technician for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and ready to start building a long-term career in the automotive industry. No extensive experience is required. If you have an interest in cars and a strong work ethic, we will train you.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong automotive background
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical aptitude
Ability to understand and apply common sense.
Clean driving record
Willing to submit to a drug screen.

Interest in automotive repair and learning new skills
Willingness to work hard and follow direction
Positive attitude and team mindset
Basic mechanical exposure is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections)
Assist technicians with repairs and diagnostics
Learn hands-on automotive skills in a real shop environment
Support workflow in a busy service department
Follow safety and quality standards
