About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking energetic, upbeat automotive technicians with positive attitudes and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. Technicians diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles, conduct complete and accurate courtesy inspections, and work collaboratively with the service department and fellow technicians to resolve concerns efficiently and deliver quality results. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, organization, effective communication, and continued professional development. The shop offers a consistent workload, training, live technical support, and access to diagnostic equipment and specialty tools. This opening is with a locally owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchisee.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Communicate concerns effectively and work closely with the service department.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Meet or exceed hourly goals.
