About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking energetic, upbeat automotive technicians with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to doing what is right for guests. Technicians diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, perform thorough and honest courtesy inspections, and collaborate with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns efficiently and deliver quality results. The shop offers a modern facility, manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment, factory and aftermarket scan tools, specialty tools, training, and technician support. This opening is at a locally owned and operated franchise location in Wichita, Kansas.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude and willingness to learn additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted overhead and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.
Desire for long-term career development.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Follow and promote safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
Communicate concerns effectively and work closely with the service department.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Meet or exceed hourly goals.
