About The Position

Douglas County Auto Care in Douglasville, Georgia, is hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs. The role focuses on accurately diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns; delivering quality work; and ensuring vehicles are safe and operating properly. Compensation includes industry-leading pay, a signing bonus of up to $5,000 based on ASE certifications and mechanical experience, and a performance bonus.

Requirements

• Proven experience performing A-level automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a team-first attitude.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete automotive maintenance and repairs, including brakes, steering and suspension, alignments, tire installation and repair, engine repair, air conditioning, and fluid exchanges.
• Diagnose complex vehicle concerns using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, and service information.
• Document findings, completed repairs, and recommended services clearly.
• Verify repair quality and ensure vehicles are safe and operating properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
