About The Position

The Automotive A-Level Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance at Hyundai of Carmel, following dealer and factory standards. The role supports customer loyalty by building trust and confidence through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair. The position is with the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, which operates more than 50 dealerships across seven states and has over 3,500 employees.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Technician.
Self-starter who is process-driven.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brakes and hydraulics, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
Keep technical skills and techniques current through formal training sessions to stay abreast of changing automotive technology.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
