About The Position

Horne Mazda is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing service team. We are seeking a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, proven automotive dealership experience, and experience working with Mazda or other Japanese automotive brands. If you take pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and getting complex issues properly diagnosed and resolved, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

A-Level Automotive Technician
Dealership experience required
Japanese automotive experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with electrical and drivability diagnostics
Ability to efficiently diagnose complex vehicle concerns
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

Mazda experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles
Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, and mechanical concerns
Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, service information, and technical resources
Identify the root cause of difficult or intermittent vehicle concerns
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications
Perform inspections and recommend necessary repairs
Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings and repairs
Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to communicate repair needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Stay current with evolving automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer requirements
