About The Position
As an Automotive Technician at Belle Tire, you provide expert automotive repairs to keep customers moving and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. The position is based in a tire and automotive service retail store and involves a fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing and heavy lifting. Work hours vary Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Sundays and specified holidays are closed. Belle Tire has over 180 locations and 3,000 employees across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, providing tires, wheels, and full-service automotive repairs. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- State of Michigan Mechanic Certification, applicable in Michigan only.
- Two years of automotive repair or mechanic experience.
- Customer-first mindset.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- ASE Certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive repairs on systems including engines, drivetrains and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.
- Ensure all work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding customer expectations for quality and service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
