About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, performs thorough vehicle inspections, and works collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to resolve concerns and deliver quality results. The position is at 6207 82nd Street, Lubbock, TX 79424. The posting advertises pay up to $50 per hour for highly skilled technicians and says the location is closed every weekend. Christian Brothers Automotive locations offer modern facilities with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, consistent workloads, training, live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Desire for long-term career development.
Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
Ability to work on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces.
Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
