About The Position

Norris’ Garage is hiring an experienced, motivated, and reliable A-Level Automotive Technician at its Forest Heights, Maryland location. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a wide range of customer vehicles, using strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to quality work and exceptional service. Compensation includes competitive pay, a sign-on bonus based on ASE certifications and experience, and a performance bonus.

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Personal tools appropriate for the position.
Strong commitment to quality work and exceptional customer service.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Perform automotive repairs and maintenance, including work on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, heating, and air conditioning.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate repairs.
Perform thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary services.
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while following safety standards.
Communicate inspection results and repair needs with service advisors and other team members.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
