Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Weekends Off | Windsor
About The Position
Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a passion for finding solutions and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, builds experience across domestic and foreign makes, and works collaboratively with the team to resolve guest concerns and deliver quality results. The role is at an independently owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchise location in Windsor, Colorado. The shop provides modern facilities with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, a consistent workload, training, live technician support, and access to a Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces.
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
- Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
- Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
- Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate concerns effectively and work closely with the service department.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
