About The Position
Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat technician/mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to finding solutions and doing what is right for customers. The position is based at 1676 Goodman Rd. East, Southaven, Mississippi 38671. Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles, develop their expertise across domestic and foreign makes, and work collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to address customer concerns and deliver quality results. The shop is climate controlled and offers a consistent workload, manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment, factory scan tools, training, live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. The location is closed every weekend.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and desire to serve customers.
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces dictated by repairs.
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
- Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
- Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
- Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete thorough, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate customer concerns effectively and work closely with the service department.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
