Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Weekends Off | Southaven
About The Position
Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician/mechanic with a positive attitude and a passion for finding solutions and doing what is right for customers. The position involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles across a wide range of domestic and foreign makes and models, conducting courtesy inspections, and collaborating with the service department and other technicians to address customer concerns and deliver quality results. Technicians work in a modern shop with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, and have access to training and live technical support. The shop is closed on weekends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician’s head and in tight spaces.
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
- Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
- Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles for customers.
- Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work closely with the service department and communicate customer concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals.
