About The Position

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Ability to perform repairs involving brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and air conditioning.
• Proficiency with scan tools and automotive service information systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, dependable attendance, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the shop team.
• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications preferred.
• North Carolina State Inspector License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently.
• Repair brakes, steering and suspension, engines, air conditioning, cooling systems, and tires.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, fluid exchanges, and thorough vehicle inspections.
• Use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service information to identify root causes and verify repairs.
• Document inspection findings, recommended services, and completed work clearly and accurately.
• Communicate repair needs, progress, and completion times to service advisors.
• Deliver quality repairs while meeting shop productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
