Automotive Technician Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking an Automotive Technician Instructor for its Automotive Technology program at the Mahwah, New Jersey campus. The role is intended for skilled automotive technicians who want to help prepare students for careers in the automotive field. No teaching experience is required; Lincoln Tech supports technicians transitioning into education. The instructor teaches and provides hands-on training in a fully equipped facility using Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum, supports and evaluates students, and emphasizes safety and compliance. This is a full-time position with a four-day work week and no weekends.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Automotive Technician experience.
- Former or current ASE certifications; G1 and A6 are required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Great communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities
- Teach Automotive Technology and provide hands-on training in a fully equipped facility.
- Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.
- Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
- Evaluate student progress and communicate it to students.
- Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance.
- Prepare students for a successful career in Automotive Technology.
