Automotive Technician Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring skilled automotive technicians as part-time and full-time instructors for its Automotive Technology program in Columbia, Maryland. Instructors teach hands-on skills in a fully equipped, climate-controlled training facility and deliver the Lincoln Tech-accredited curriculum. No teaching experience is required; Lincoln Tech supports technicians transitioning into education. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with multiple schedule options available. The position offers opportunities to support students’ professional development and prepare them for automotive careers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Automotive Technician experience.
- Former or current ASE certifications; G1 and A6 are required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Great communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities
- Teach Automotive Technology and provide hands-on training in a fully equipped facility.
- Facilitate and deliver Lincoln Tech-accredited course curriculum.
- Support and motivate students’ growth, professionalism, and accountability.
- Evaluate students’ progress and communicate feedback to them.
- Teach students the importance of safety and compliance.
- Prepare students for successful careers in Automotive Technology.
