About The Position

Westbury Alfa Romeo Fiat, part of the VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, is hiring an Automotive Showroom Porter/Valet to support its sales and service departments. The role involves moving vehicles, maintaining lot organization, assisting customers, and helping the dealership operate smoothly. This is a full-time position with a five-day work week scheduled Monday through Saturday. Pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive vehicles safely. Employees should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive porter, valet, lot attendant, or dealership support experience.
• Comfort driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles; preferred but not required.
• Experience as an automotive porter, valet driver, dealership porter, lot attendant, service porter, car washer or vehicle prep worker, automotive lot coordinator, or in customer service, hospitality, or valet parking.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and courteously upon arrival.
• Move, park, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist with service drive traffic flow and vehicle staging.
• Maintain the organization and appearance of the dealership lot, showroom, and service areas.
• Keep new, used, and customer vehicles lined up and parked properly.
• Help prepare vehicles for customer pickup and delivery.
• Shuttle vehicles between departments as needed.
• Check in vehicles and support the service team with general vehicle movement.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready when needed.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment inside and outside the dealership.
• Perform additional porter, lot attendant, and dealership support duties as assigned.
