About The Position
LEHR is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Manager to lead its Cincinnati vehicle-upfitting operation, oversee production, and develop a high-performing team that delivers quality builds on time. The role involves managing daily shop operations and production, supervising a team of 15–20 employees, and supporting customers. The position is full-time and non-exempt, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work location: 9668 Inter Ocean Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45246.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the automotive parts and vehicle-upfitting industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shop operations and production activities.
- Supervise 15–20 team members, including technicians, customer service, and warehouse staff.
- Schedule work and manage workflow to meet production goals.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate material needs with the warehouse team.
- Provide invoicing for builds.
- Monitor labor efficiency, shop performance, and productivity metrics.
- Support customers by providing exceptional service and occasional quotes.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate employee reviews with the Shop Foreman.
- Assist with uniform sales.
