About The Position
The Automotive Shop Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the automotive shop facilities. The role involves cleaning shop areas, removing trash and scrap materials, wiping down equipment, operating a floor scrubber, disposing of used motor oil, and keeping cleaning supplies stocked. The schedule is flexible and tailored to the right person.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work.
Responsibilities
- Regularly clean and maintain all areas of the automotive shop.
- Empty trash and remove scrap materials, including tires and rotors.
- Wipe down equipment and run the floor scrubber.
- Dispose of used motor oil.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available.
