About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an accomplished Automotive Service Manager to lead service operations at a dealership in Delaware or Maryland's Eastern Shore. This leadership role offers career growth, performance-driven compensation, executive leadership, and operational support within a family-owned regional dealership group. The company operates 24 dealerships, 15 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands across the Delmarva Peninsula.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of automotive service management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven success in high-volume service operations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to relocate to Delaware or Maryland's Eastern Shore.

• College education.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service department operations.
• Drive customer satisfaction, CSI, and retention.
• Coach, train, and develop Advisors and Technicians.
• Manage workflow, productivity, and repair order efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and service metrics.
• Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Build a positive, high-performance service culture.
