About The Position

Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee is accepting applications for an additional Service Advisor. Our Service Advisors are responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters, communicating effectively between customers, managers, and technicians, listening to and understanding customer problems, arranging appropriate service/repairs, setting and managing expectations for customers and technicians, explaining needed repairs and recommended maintenance to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction with repair quality and timeliness, and working productively in a fast-paced team environment delivering world-class customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer and internet skills

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
• Highly professional and dependable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
• Experience with CDK and/or X-Time preferred
