Job Type & Schedule Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Saturdays 8 am - 5pm Work Requirements: Ability to commute: Waxahachie, TX (Required) Work Location: In person Job Description We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and automotive repair knowledge, with the ability to bridge communication between our customers and technicians. This role is key to ensuring our customers receive an exceptional service experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and in a friendly manner
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair needs
  • Provide detailed cost estimates and obtain proper authorization before work begins
  • Communicate clearly with service technicians to ensure customer needs are understood
  • Keep customers informed of repair progress and notify them of any changes
  • Review and explain completed repairs and charges to customers
  • Maintain service records and follow up with customers to encourage repeat business
  • Adhere to dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures
