About The Position

Capital Ford Hillsborough is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers coming in for maintenance and repair. Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments, providing timely updates throughout the service process, and coordinating closely with the service team to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time. Success in this role comes from maintaining strong communication, building trust with both customers and technicians, and contributing to a consistent, high-quality service experience. Experience in automotive service or a related field is preferred.

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive service advising or a similar customer service role within the automotive industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, including diagnostic procedures and repair techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications used for estimating, scheduling, and invoicing
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to accurately diagnose problems and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance
  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs to customers, ensuring transparency and trust
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workload efficiently
  • Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Other duties assigned
