About The Position
Neil Huffman Automotive Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Service Advisor at our Mazda, Subaru & Volkswagen location! If you have automotive service experience, excellent customer service skills, and know how to keep a busy service drive moving, we want to talk to you. Earning Potential: $70,000+ Annually. Walk-Ins Welcome! As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary connection between our customers and service technicians, ensuring customers receive clear communication and an exceptional service experience from arrival through vehicle delivery.
Requirements
- Previous automotive Service Advisor experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of automotive mechanical operations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Schedule service appointments and obtain necessary customer and vehicle information
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair instructions
- Prepare repair orders and provide estimates for parts and labor
- Explain recommended maintenance and repairs, including costs and time requirements
- Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional work
- Keep customers informed of repair progress and changes to estimates or completion times
- Coordinate with technicians and the service team to help ensure work is completed efficiently
- Answer customer questions regarding repairs, maintenance, and work in progress
- Review completed repairs and assist with vehicle delivery
- Maintain accurate and complete service documentation
- Maintain current service pricing guides, maintenance menus, and department forms
- Help achieve department performance and customer satisfaction goals
- Follow dealership policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
