About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is hiring a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join its service team at Easton Ford in Easton, Maryland. This full-time position connects customers with the service department and supports a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The role offers income ranging from $50,000 to $85,000, with a salary plus commission/bonus compensation structure, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Prior customer service and/or sales experience is required.
• Strong communication skills; English is required.
• Comfort using computers and learning dealership software.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive experience is a plus.
• Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
• Energetic and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments.
• Clearly communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines.
• Coordinate repair orders with technicians.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Recommend additional maintenance or services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every visit.
