About The Position

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi, a family-owned dealership for over 16 years, is seeking motivated individuals for an Automotive Sales Representative role. This position offers comprehensive paid training and unlimited income potential, making it ideal for those who enjoy customer interaction and performance-based earning. Prior experience in sales, retail, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, bartending, serving, or banking is beneficial, but not required. The dealership will provide all necessary training for candidates with a successful track record in customer-facing roles.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working directly with customers in sales, retail, hospitality, restaurants, banking, or customer service.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and using computer systems or CRM software.
  • Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Coachable, competitive, dependable, and motivated to succeed.
  • Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Available to work Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers find the Volkswagen that best fits their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
  • Demonstrate vehicles through walk-arounds and test drives while explaining features and benefits.
  • Guide customers through the vehicle purchase process from start to finish.
  • Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Follow up with customers by phone, text, email, and CRM to answer questions and earn their business.
  • Manage internet leads, phone opportunities, showroom traffic, and repeat customers.
  • Keep accurate customer notes and complete follow-up activities in our CRM.
  • Work closely with sales managers to provide an outstanding customer experience and achieve monthly sales goals.
