About The Position

Berman Auto Group is seeking an experienced, performance-driven Automotive Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This is an opportunity for a proven automotive professional who knows how to lead a sales floor, develop a team, maximize profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership skills, prior experience as both a Finance Manager and Used Car Sales Manager, and a proven track record of success in automotive sales management.

Requirements

Prior automotive Finance Manager experience required
Used Car Manager experience highly preferred
Demonstrated success leading and developing an automotive sales team
Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, profitability, and performance metrics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
Strong customer-service mindset
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to consistently meet and exceed performance goals
Drive sales performance through effective processes, accountability, and coaching
Train and mentor sales professionals to strengthen product knowledge, closing skills, and overall performance
Work closely with dealership leadership to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and market opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
Ensure every customer receives a professional, efficient, and high-quality experience
Build a competitive, positive, and team-oriented sales culture
