About The Position

The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on with in store customers and staff daily. You will train and mentor your Sales Consultants to help them achieve goals through following a customer focused sales process and coach them on proven sales techniques. We are looking for an experienced candidate with a proven track record in a similar market sized store. An impeccable reputation, good leadership skills and a commitment to customer service at the highest level is a must. Requirements

  • PREVIOUS AUTOMOTIVE SALES MANAGER (AUDI OR VOLKSWAGEN) DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
  • Two years of automotive sales experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of the Audi and/or Volkswagen Sales Teams.
  • Directs and schedules the activities, always ensuring proper staffing.
  • Ensures that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible.
  • Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.
  • Assists Sales Team members throughout the sales process, building customer relationships.
  • Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Conducts sales training meetings.
  • Forecasts aggressive, yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with appropriate support and guidance.
  • Assists in development of improvement plan for salespeople.
  • Ensures salespeople maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Contacts new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with sales and delivery process. Addresses any concerns or complaints immediately.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
  • Monitors customer activity. Trains and help improve the performance of salespeople. Learn advanced systems and methods for becoming a sales manager.
