The Sales Manager assists the Dealer in planning, organizing, and controlling the Sales Department; supports and evaluates employees; and works to meet departmental goals while strengthening the dealership’s image and customer experience.

Requirements

Automotive Sales Manager experience is required.
Eight years of experience working in sales management.
Proven experience managing groups and teams.
Excellent communication skills across multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Assist the Dealer in planning, organizing, and controlling the Sales Department.
Measure employee performance in the department and provide necessary assistance.
Forecast and strive to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Attend managers' meetings.
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of sales employees.
Direct salespeople to enhance the dealership's image and customer experience.
Communicate with and mentor salespeople to ensure adherence to dealership policies and procedures.
Set sales goals for salespeople and review their performance.
Conduct daily sales and training meetings.
