Capital Lincoln Mazda of Cary is seeking a driven, customer-focused Mazda Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the Mazda brand, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. As a Sales Consultant, you'll guide customers through the vehicle-buying process while delivering an exceptional, personalized experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required; automotive sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Basic computer skills for managing CRM and customer information
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner both in-person and online
  • Build rapport and identify customer needs to recommend the right Mazda vehicles
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and performance with confidence and enthusiasm
  • Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery
  • Negotiate and close sales while ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Stay current on Mazda products, features, and dealership inventory
  • Follow up with customers to build long-term relationships and generate referrals
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Handle additional duties as assigned
