About The Position

Dave Smith Motors is hiring Automotive Sales Consultants to create a positive guest experience at its store. The role involves assisting guests through the car sales process online, from vehicle selection to the presentation of protection products and other aspects of the guest experience. Consultants provide clear, transparent options so guests can make well-informed decisions and work collaboratively with teammates to ensure every guest has an exceptional experience. The company provides four weeks of paid classroom and hands-on training; prior automotive sales experience is not required. The role is full-time, five days a week, with two days off and Sundays off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid driver's license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Ability to perform duties and responsibilities safely.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, a drug test, and a credit report.
• Computer skills.
• Great attitude; outgoing, energetic, and passionate approach.
• Transparency, willingness to learn, ownership, resilience, and a focus on celebrating small successes.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with vehicle selection, protection-product presentations, and the overall guest experience.
• Guide guests through the car sales process online.
• Provide guests with clear, transparent options to support well-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with teammates to provide an excellent experience for guests, whether or not they purchase a vehicle.
• Take pride in the work, celebrate successes with guests, and follow the team's approach to doing things the right way.
