Requirements

At least one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong sales skills accompanied by excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Organizational skills with the ability to follow up thoroughly with clients before and after sales.
Valid driver’s license required.
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct a needs analysis to understand their vehicle preferences and requirements.
Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicles both in the showroom and during test drives.
Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or lease terms.
Perform visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
Complete all necessary paperwork and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
Deliver vehicles to customers and provide an orientation on features and operation.
Attend and complete required training sessions and department meetings.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
