Requirements

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Service-oriented and able quickly identify customer needs.
• Ability to showcase vehicles to customers in a way that meets their needs.
• Basic driving skills for accompanying customers on test drives.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Minimum age requirement is 22.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selling vehicles for personal and commercial use.
• Meeting with customers to discuss their needs.
• Promoting sales offers at their dealership.
• Participating in test drives with interested customers.
• Greeting customers arriving at the dealership.
• Showcasing the dealership’s vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers.
• Answering customers questions about vehicles, financing and the purchase process.
• Accompanying customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices.
• Negotiating prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles.
• Coordinating with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options.
• Contacting past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles.
• Generating new business leads.
