About The Position

The Automotive Quick Lane Manager oversees all aspects of the Quick Lane department, monitors sales, gross profit, and expenses, and works closely with other department managers. The manager addresses customer concerns requiring management involvement, maintains relationships with manufacturer representatives, and keeps open repair orders current. This role hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors service department staff, while ensuring training and certification requirements meet manufacturer and dealer standards. The manager is expected to demonstrate company values, follow company policies and safety standards, and perform other duties assigned by management. The job involves prolonged periods of computer use and data entry.

Requirements

Two or more years of experience in the automotive industry.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Valid driver’s license.
Successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Nice To Haves

Dealership experience preferred.
Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the Quick Lane department.

Maintain a positive working relationship with manufacturer representatives.
Keep open repair orders current.
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of service department staff.
Maintain training and certification requirements in accordance with manufacturer and dealer standards.
