Automotive Porter
About The Position
The Automotive Porter supports quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities. The role includes pre-washing vehicles before repairs, cleaning their interiors and exteriors after repairs, and transporting customer vehicles to outside repair locations. The Porter also performs daily housekeeping in office and production areas and keeps parking lots and grounds neat and orderly. The position requires operating a motor vehicle and working near moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include pushing, pulling, carrying, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.

- Clear close vision.
- Able to push, pull, and carry items; walk and stand for extended periods; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping in the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas.
- Maintain daily housekeeping in the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and returning tools and equipment to their proper locations.
- Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
- Clean the interior and exterior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
