About The Position

The Service Porter supports the daily operations of the dealership’s service department by maintaining clean and organized service areas, parking and moving vehicles, and assisting with operational tasks. The role helps create a safe, clean, efficient, and customer-friendly environment for customers and employees. The position is full-time based on dealership needs and may include Saturdays. Compensation is a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Frequent driving, walking, and movement throughout the dealership property.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Dependable and trustworthy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Willingness to assist wherever needed to support dealership operations.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Park, retrieve, and organize customer and dealership vehicles.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the service shop, parking lot, and surrounding areas.
Move vehicles between service, detailing, and customer pickup areas.
Sweep, clean, and remove debris from service bays and work areas.
Maintain the cleanliness of customer waiting areas and common spaces.
Assist technicians, advisors, and management with daily operational tasks.
Perform basic errands and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Ensure vehicles are parked safely and securely.
Follow dealership safety policies and procedures.
Assist with snow removal, trash disposal, and general facility upkeep when needed.
Support special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
