About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking talented, dedicated, and quality-focused teammates to provide high-quality customer service. The Automotive Porter/Driver transports vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment where needed and supports the repair process. This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles. Compensation is up to $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Desire to learn a skilled trade.
• High school diploma or tech school graduate.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and customer-focused outlook.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds independently.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping.
• Ability to frequently drive company and customer vehicles.
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather.
• Must wear PPE, including facial covering, eye protection, and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-oriented service.
• Communicate with the field team to support efficiency and productivity.
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs and/or ADAS calibrations.
• Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during the repair process.
• Clean up vehicles when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership.
