About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking dedicated, quality-focused teammates to provide service to customers. The Automotive Porter/Driver transports vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles. The work may take place in a shop environment and includes frequent driving and travel within the assigned area.

Requirements

• Desire to learn a skilled trade.
• High school diploma or technical school graduate.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and customer-focused vision.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently.
• Ability to travel for continuing education and certification training as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, and stoop.
• Ability to drive company and customer vehicles frequently.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather.
• Must wear required PPE, including facial covering, eye protection, and gloves.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-oriented service.
• Communicate with the field team to support efficiency and productivity.
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs and/or ADAS calibrations.
• Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during the repair process.
• Clean up vehicles when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership.
