About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands are seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Automotive Porter/Driver to provide top-tier customer service. This entry-level role transports vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations and offers an opportunity to grow into other roles. The position can pay up to $20 per hour. Travel within the assigned area is expected, and travel may also be required for continuing education and certification training. The work takes place in a shop environment and may involve inclement weather, fumes, dust, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment is required.

Requirements

• Desire to learn a skilled trade.
• High school diploma or graduation from a tech school.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and customer-focused vision.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds independently.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Ability to work in a shop environment, including in inclement weather.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including facial covering, eye protection, and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the field team to support efficiency and productivity.
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs and/or ADAS calibrations.
• Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during the repair process.
• Clean vehicles when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership.
