About The Position

Harbor Nissan, a growing family-owned dealership, is seeking a qualified Parts Counter Person. The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving customers and associates. This role involves interacting with customers, managing inventory, maintaining the parts department, and ensuring accurate pricing and system updates.

Requirements

  • Automotive parts department or technician EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
  • Proficient computer skills a must.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need.
  • Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
  • Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up-to-date.
  • Inform customers of any current specials.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
