About The Position
The Automotive Parts Counter Person assists retail and wholesale customers with parts requests, ensuring the correct part is obtained. This includes identifying parts, locating them in inventory, or placing orders. The role also supports Parts Department operations by maintaining and tracking parts inventory and accessories. The position oversees the parts sales process, handles special-order requests, and communicates parts status to customers. The Parts Counter Person works with the parts manager to locate items not in stock and communicates professionally with staff and customers. The role requires following company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a professional appearance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Work with the parts manager to locate parts that are not in stock.
