About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Master Technician at Northlake KIA. The technician performs assigned vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. The role also builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

The dealership offers top flat-rate hours for customer and internal work, with a potential pay range of $40.00–$50.00 per hour. Master-level technicians may be able to book 40–80 hours per week. A sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 may be available based on experience and certifications. Flexible work shifts and weekend options are available.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Master Technician.
• Self-starter with a process-driven approach.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques through formal training sessions to keep current with changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
