About The Position

The Automotive Master Technician repairs and maintains vehicles as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The role builds customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in the company through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair. The position is located at Northlake KIA and is part of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Master Technician.
Self-starter who is process-driven.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
Continuously update technical skills and techniques through formal training sessions to stay current with changing automotive technology.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
