About The Position
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Master Technician at Napleton Italian Imports in Carmel, Indiana. The technician performs assigned vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, helping build customer loyalty through effective diagnosis and repair. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, explaining technical findings and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, keeping current with automotive technology through training, communicating repair problems to store management, and maintaining an organized service bay. Flexible work shifts and weekend options are available. The job offers incentive-based pay, with skills and effort driving earnings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Master Level Technician.
- Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.
- Be a self-starter and process-driven.
Nice To Haves
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, as required.
- Continuously update technical skills and techniques through formal training to stay current with changing automotive technology.
- Keep store management informed about mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
