About The Position
The Automotive Lot Associate manages new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lots. The role involves organizing inventory, supporting sales with vehicle stocking and movement, managing inventory accessories, photographing vehicles for website advertising, and keeping the lot clean and organized. The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and may include moving vehicles for snow removal. A valid driver’s license and an insurability rating are required. The role may require 0–10% travel.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
- Ability to obtain the required insurability rating.
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work outdoors in warm or cold weather.
- Ability to lift or exert force up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize new and used vehicle inventory.
- Work with sales to stock and move vehicles and make room for new inventory on the lot.
- Manage inventory accessories, including books, keys, and codes.
- Take photographs of vehicles on the lot and advertise them on the website.
- Keep the dealership lot clean and organized.
- Move vehicles for snow removal when needed.
