Tuttle‑Click Capistrano Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Line Technician to join our high-volume service department. This role is ideal for technicians who are comfortable handling complex repairs and want to work with one of the most recognized brands in the industry.
Requirements
- Previous dealership or professional automotive technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Ford experience and certifications preferred
- ASE certifications strongly encouraged
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with Ford and dealership standards
- Perform engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, suspension, and brake repairs
- Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and completed work
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and additional needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all dealership procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols
