About The Position
Tuttle-Click Capistrano Ford is seeking an experienced Brake & Front End Technician to join our high-volume service department. This position is ideal for a technician who specializes in suspension, steering, and brake repairs and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment. We support technicians at every stage with manufacturer training, professional development, and advancement opportunities. You will work on Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Fiat vehicles with a consistent workflow and a well-equipped shop. Requirements
- Prior experience as a brake and/or front end technician required
- Ford dealership experience preferred
- ASE certifications in Brakes and Suspension/Steering a plus
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, including pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulics
- Perform front-end and suspension repairs such as shocks, struts, ball joints, tie rods, and control arms
- Conduct alignments and diagnose steering and drivability concerns
- Accurately document inspections, findings, and completed repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining Ford and dealership quality standards
- Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures, and safety guidelines
