About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring an Automotive Interior Repair Technician to perform mobile cosmetic repairs at customer locations, including dealerships and auctions. The role is open to candidates without prior experience and includes comprehensive paid training, with travel, food, transportation, and lodging covered as described in the posting. Training is compensated at an hourly rate; compensation then transitions to a phased combination of hourly pay and commission as technicians leave training and build a customer base. The position offers uncapped commission-based earning potential, with long-term earnings listed as $60,000–$110,000+. Technicians repair rips, tears, burns, stains, and other cosmetic damage to vehicle interiors; mix dyes; and restore surfaces to like-new condition. The work involves traveling to customer locations, working outdoors in varied weather, and building customer relationships while promoting services. The role offers tools and supplies, a company vehicle, a gas card, and a mobile phone, along with cross-training and career advancement opportunities. The expected starting compensation is $21.00 per hour. Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location, and the total compensation package may include commission, bonus, or profit sharing. Candidates selected for an offer will undergo post-offer, pre-employment screening appropriate to the role, which may include a physical examination, vision assessment, background check, and drug screening.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations, including dealerships and auctions, to perform mobile interior repairs.
Repair rips, tears, burns, stains, and other cosmetic damage in vehicle interiors.
Mix dyes and restore vehicle interior surfaces to like-new condition.
Build strong customer relationships and promote Dent Wizard’s services.
