About The Position
MHS/MCTEA is seeking a full-time instructor to teach Automotive at the high school level. The instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, teaching assigned courses, assessing student progress, developing and updating curriculum, and utilizing computers and software.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in the automotive field
- ASE certifications in G1, A4, A5 and A6
- Experience with a variety of automotive repairs and service
- Strong writing and technical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to master change
- Ability to work in groups
- Strong customer orientation
- Eligible to meet State of South Dakota post-secondary instructor certification requirements
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- K-12 instructional experience
